The Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) said in a communiqué that Darham was arrested along with four other people, including two police officers. In addition to the driver, the four arrested include Darham’s brother, a third person accompanying them during the accident, a police officer who assessed the accident scene and another who was in charge of managing the routinely activities in the car accident’ surrounding area. The five suspects were charged with attempting to manipulate the accident scene, giving fraudulent statements, and removing seized physical evidence related to the investigation. DGSN noted that the five suspects would be sent to court. They will remain under custody until the Public Prosecution’s investigations are completed.
